We're in that stage of the market where prices are going up, for both sellers and buyers.  If you want to move to a larger or smaller place, it's time to put your house on the market and start looking for your new home.

BUT FIRST, you need to fix up your place - make it live-able but clean and neat, including the outside and the inside.  If you need termite work done, get it done now.  If you need to freshen up with new paint, new carpet, or even new flooring, get that done so you can demand t...

Ugly truth - don't believe sob stories from renters

I just went through an eviction today.  It was not fun, including all the things leading up to it.  My renter should have been kicked out about 2 years ago, when they first got behind.  My fault.  After all, a mortgage company would not care what your story is, they just want the money.

After getting the court to OK the eviction, the Sheriff came, but fortunately, my renters had basically moved out.  I mean basically, because they left a lot of junk.  Now, after I changed the locks, I have to ...

Rent Vs. Buy - why not buy?

Many renters don't know that they can actually buy a house.  There are a lot of loan programs out there that a good Broker can find you with very little to even no down payment.  You just need to ask - ASK ME!  I can "hook you up" with one of several mortgage lenders, your choice, and you can be on your way to home ownership.

What's the plan?  Here's a great one:
1. Find and buy the home.
2. Move into it and stay for at least 2 years.
3. Find a second home.
4. Clean up your first home, and move in...
